Rooted in the Guru-Shishya ethos, this retreat offers a blend of rigorous practical training, theoretical exploration, and creative expression. Participants will delve into classical repertoire, Taal and Laya structure, Set in an environment that nurtures discipline, devotion, and dialogue, PARAMPARA aims to deepen the dancer's connection to tradition while encouraging individual artistic growth.

  1. Learn to express Durga Devi slokas through Kathak Abhinaya and movement.

  2. Create original compositions combining classical elements with devotional texts.

  3. Refine choreography skills using Gharana-specific and creative tools.

  4. Practice new-style Kathak movement exercises for strength, grace, and expression.

  5. Confidently perform solo and group pieces with expressive and rhythmic clarity.
