Overview
Digital Health & Telemedicine into Nursing Practice is designed to strengthen the knowledge and practical skills of nursing students and professionals in modern healthcare delivery. With the growing use of digital technologies, telemedicine plays an important role in improving access to healthcare, especially in rural and underserved areas.
The workshop provides a clear understanding of digital health concepts, types and applications of telemedicine, and the role of nurses in virtual care. It includes training on electronic health records, digital tools, and effective communication during online consultations. Participants also learn about ethical principles, legal guidelines, and patient confidentiality in telemedicine practice.
Using interactive methods such as lectures, demonstrations, simulations, and case discussions, the workshop focuses on practical learning and real-life applications. By the end of the program, participants will have improved confidence and competence in delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered care through telemedicine.
