Overview
AgriXperience 1.0: Hands-On Training in Agri-Lab Skills & Smart Technologies is a practice-oriented program designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world agricultural applications. The title reflects a modern learning approach that combines “agriculture” with “experience,” emphasizing skill-based training through direct exposure to laboratory techniques and advanced instruments. The course covers diverse areas such as agro-meteorology, soil science, genetics and plant breeding, horticulture, post-harvest management, entomology, and plant pathology, giving participants a holistic understanding of agricultural sciences.
This course is ideal for students who want to develop strong practical skills and stay aligned with emerging trends in smart and sustainable agriculture. By working with digital sensors, precision farming tools, fluorescence microscopy, and food processing equipment, learners gain hands-on experience that enhances their technical, analytical, and research abilities. It also improves employability by preparing students for careers in agri-industries, research, and higher education, while equipping them to address modern challenges like climate variability, nutrient management, pest control, and post-harvest losses.
