Overview
"Bhartiya History & Present Scenario" explores India's rich cultural heritage, historical milestones, and contemporary challenges. In the historical heritage of the ancient states of Chola, Parmar, Chalukya and Parmar ruler, our technology is to be brought before the society. It is our historical identity to explain the importance of heritage in history, conserve inheritance, include inclusion and connect new youth with it. The dignity of history is that we can protect and prosper our legacy, unfortunately our mention of these states is not seen anywhere in history writing. Incidentally, the place found to the historical heritage in history after the last 12 years of tireless hard work is notable. It is our basic goal to add maximum to the youth of today with the historical heritage of Chola, Parmar, Chalukya and Bhoj periods and their history, their traditions and their science techniques.

Prof. A. Gangatharan
I, Dr. A. Gangatharan, currently working as the Associate Professor in the Department of History since 2004. I have lost my sight on account of Retinal Detachment at the age of ten having gone through the full impact of visual impairment during my educational career. Needless to say, this has enabled me to empathetically approach the question of disability with the holistic outlook by taking a range of interrelated nuances for consideration. The issue of capability building and the opportunity to explore new possibilities for producing results is crucial to the people with disabilities across the world. Entry may be ensured through some prior arrangements but sustaining in the field of work largely depends upon how an individual performs irrespective of his or her ability, limitations and physical disability. All the current intervention models must pay attention to this question as it is critical to the effective functioning of people with disabilities in any field of work. BHU is a classical place to investigate the actual functioning of services and goods for the physically challenged people for which we need to evolve effective mechanism whereby we can see the changes at the ground level. Formation of Committees at the District level to monitor, evaluate and recommend appropriate measures and steps would be of immense use. Having sufficient exposure to the imperatives of disability challenges, I can offer useful methods and suggestions to improve the working conditions of the people with physical challenges thereby making disability more a socialized question than a medical one.
