This short-term course introduces students to the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence in Journalism and Performing Arts. Gagan Shukla is Visiting Faculty and Research Scholar at DAVV SJMC,Indore. He has industry experience in Print Media and also worked as a Freelance  video editor in short Films and Documentries. Additionally he has already completed his masters dissertation in How AI is supporting Journalism.   
Ms. Nishi Sharma
Ms. Nishi Sharma is an Assistant Professor at SAGE University, Indore, and a Research Scholar at Banasthali Vidyapith. She is actively engaged in teaching, academic research, and mentoring in the areas of media studies, communication, and emerging digital technologies. Her academic interests include Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital transformation, media innovation, and the application of AI across communication and journalism. She is committed to introducing learners to the fundamentals of AI, helping them understand its concepts, applications, and impact on education, media, business, and society. Alongside her academic career, Ms. Sharma has gained practical experience as an Anchor and Master of Ceremonies (MC), hosting academic, cultural, and professional events. Her expertise in public speaking, audience engagement, and stage communication complements her teaching, enabling her to effectively connect with diverse audiences and deliver impactful presentations.
Mr. Gagan Shukla
Mr. Gagan Shukla is a Visiting Faculty at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore, and a Research Scholar at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC), DAVV. With a blend of academic expertise and industry experience, he has worked as a Video Editor and Photographer, bringing practical insights into digital storytelling, visual communication, and multimedia content production. As an educator and media professional, Mr. Shukla specializes in AI in Journalism, Generative AI for Content Creation, Digital Media Production, Visual Storytelling, Mobile Journalism (MoJo), Photojournalism, Video Editing, and Media Ethics. His sessions combine academic research with hands-on industry experience, enabling participants to understand how AI-powered tools can enhance journalistic practices while preserving the core values of accuracy, transparency, and responsible reporting.

His session on "Creativity vs Technology" offers an industry-oriented perspective on how creativity and technology complement each other in today's media ecosystem. The workshop is designed to provide participants with practical exposure to the latest digital tools and AI-powered software used by media professionals for content creation, audio production, script writing, graphic design, video editing, voice generation, and creative ideation.
